How Do I Install Apache Http Server On My Home Pc?

how do i install Apache HTTP Server on my home pc. i downloaded a folder full of files..is there a exe file or what

http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi

i want to be able to test web pages offline.
can any one point me in the right direction..

    Hi,
    I’m guessing that you don’t need the server to handle a big load of users, that you need it only to expereince…
    here is an easy(very) to install package containing the server + php + perl
