I have inheritted this website that is absolutely FULL of unused old files
How do I get rid of them.
I would like to pull on the indes.html file, sort of like pulling on a plant that is above ground and have all the “roots” the files that are attached to it come up out of the ground.
Clean all of the unused files out of the “hole” and then put index and all it’s roots back into the hole

does anyone know what version of html is supported by the 2.2.2 version of the apache htp server? (seen at http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi )
ok, first of all, yes there are different versions of HTML. There is the original 1.1, and 2.0. i don’t know if there is anything newer, but if you learn html today, you will likely be learning 2.0. so no dynamic or extended html. second, i know that it’s the browser that needs to support the html version, but if you look at the apache site it says “is a powerful, flexible, HTTP/1.1 compliant web server” in there somewhere. the third answerer noticed that apparently. so yea…

Help, I am an amateur in php and html programming. I create a simple html code to create a form with a submit button.
When I click the submit button, a php script should print out the data input. But it doesn’t.
What do I do wrong? I use xampp for the php and apache server.
Any idea? Thank you very much
