Apache Server Question?

So, I installed the Apache server and then I was trying to configured one of the files, its called httpd, and then after I was done and wanted to save it, it wouldn’t let me, its just a text file opened in notepad, but I think it has something to do with permissions. It won’t let me save it in the place where it should be. I am the computers administrator so I don’t know why its doing this. Any ideas as to what I should do?

    The file name is httpd.conf
Make sure you have admin rights if you are on Vista.
Even though you have admin rights to need to be logged in as administrator.
I been using Apache for many years and never heard of being unable to save httpd.conf. It is not caused by Apache.
